Latest Trends in Jewelry: Christmas 2015

Mark: Hi it’s Mark from Top Local Lead Generation and we’re here with Sheetal Gupta of Maharani Jewels in Vancouver, purveyors of very fine jewelry and diamond rings. How’re you doing today Sheetal?

Sheetal: I’m doing very well, thank you so much Mark.

Mark: So we’re going to talk about some of the latest trends in jewelry and have a look at your website, is that right?

Sheetal: That’s right - I’m very excited!

Mark: So what are some of the latest trends? What’s in this holiday season?

Sheetal: Yeah, so today I’m going to talk a little bit about some of the latest trends which are stackable jewelry as well as lots of rings. So you see that a lot on Instagram, celebrities are wearing them, lots of little bedazzled rings that you can wear four, five, six at a time. You can stack them together. You can wear them when you’re out shopping, you can wear them when you’re out and about in the city. Let me take you to the website and I will show you some of the things that are extremely trendy. So here we are on the Maharani website - Mark are you able to see the main page here?

Mark: Just came up.

Sheetal: Fantastic, so as you land on the home page, you will see the Painted in Diamonds Collection. You will see our model here wearing these pieces which are absolutely the latest in trend. When you click on the home page [click on the Painted In Diamonds Collection] you will see a very nice variety of these rings. The very first one is actually one of my favourites, it is called the Criss-Cross Diamond Ring and what you’ll see is, it’s just a very delicate, diamond encrusted ring, in 14 karat. You can wear this on your ring finger, you can wear this on your index finger. It’s just extremely trendy and for the $950 price point it is absolutely exquisite for a piece of fine jewelry. right next to it is the Pavé ‘H’ Ring, again extremely trendy, very, very in vogue. Then you’ve got a lot of swirls, we’re seeing a lot of swirls in diamond jewelry right now. We’ve got the Swirls of Diamond Ring, down here we’ve got the Diamond ’S’. You will also notice Mark, that all the jewelry is not just white gold. The Diamond ’S’ is in rose gold. Further down, when you scroll down the page, you will see the Double Wave Ring in rose gold, the Mirror Image Ring and some of the large swirl rings are white gold, then you’ve got the Snake Ring in yellow gold. So right now, colour is definitely in it’s not all white gold, we are seeing a lot of coloured gold as well.

I’m going to take you over to the Stackable Bracelets Collection, again very, very trendy, more is better. Nowadays, you don’t just see one single bangle as much as you see several small bangles stacked together. This is a really great example, the Narrow Gold and Diamond Mesh Bangle, one of my favourite pieces. It’s delicate but at the same time it’s got this interwoven gold pattern, which is all made in the US and it is absolutely exquisitely handcrafted. You have a cluster of diamonds scattered throughout the bangle just to give it that little bit of sparkle. And these bangles are available in rose gold, white gold, as well as yellow gold. Definitely in fashion.

This is one is another one of my favourite pieces, it is the Gold Bead Stretch Bracelet available in white gold as well as yellow gold. It also comes in a rose gold, that can be special ordered. What I love about this piece is that you can stack them, it is also unisex - so it’s great for both guys and for girls and it’s just a great classic piece. All done in either 14 karat white or 14 karat yellow gold. So those are definitely some of the latest trends.

You’ve got some of the classic studs, some geometric shaped pendants, again the Criss-Cross Diamond Ring and at the bottom, a lot of colour.
