A diamond certificate – which is also called a diamond grading report, diamond dossier, or a diamond quality document – is a report that has been created by a team of professionally trained gemologists. Each diamond is individually evaluated, measured, and scrutinized using trained eyes as well as gemological equipment designed specifically for diamond grading.

A diamond certificate includes information such as its dimensions, carat weight, color, clarity, as well as other characteristics.
