WHAT DOES MAHARANI MEAN?
The word Maharani, is derived from the Sanskrit words "Maha," meaning great, and "Rajni," meaning queen. The two dots on the letter ‘M’ are notations used in Sankrit and are therefore incorporated into the identity of Maharani Jewels. Maharani Jewels is about honouring and celebrating the Maharani that resides in every woman. The elegance, sensuality, and dignity that is symbolic of a woman is thereby revealed through the grace and craftsmanship of every Maharani piece.

COMPLIMENTARY CLEANING AND EXAMINATION OF CLAWS
At our Vancouver Maharani Boutique, we offer professional cleaning and an examination of your claws and setting, completely free of charge. Please make an appointment using our online form so you have our undivided attention.
Wrong finger size for the ring? No problem as we can virtually re-size any engagement ring so it fits perfectly. Please inquire with the associate regarding pricing as it depends on the ring style.
At Maharani Jewels, we are proud of the quality and craftsmanship of our jewels. Therefore, if you find any manufacturing or workmanship defects in your jewelry within the first two years of purchase, we are happy to provide the necessary repairs, free of charge. At this time we only service customers in Canada, but please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for all orders originating outside of Canada and we will gladly assist you.
Kindly please note that the Guarantee doesn’t cover jewelry where the defect is:
- caused by normal wear and tear
- if the piece was serviced or repaired by anyone other than Maharani Jewels caused by the mishandling or misuse of the piece
- related to the rhodium plating wearing off which can be corrected by re-rhodium plating the piece at a charge
- related to the scratches that will result from normal wear of gold and platinum pieces
Though we are confident that you will absolutely love your Maharani Piece, if there is any reason at all that you are not completely satisfied with you purchase, we will gladly refund your purchase within 14 days of receiving your product. At this time, we accept returns from all customers based in Canada. With regards to custom design pieces, there is a meticulous process involved in which the diamond is selected, the design rendered, as well as the creation of the 3-D CAD rendering and building of the wax mold. We only proceed on the customization once these steps have been completed and when you are 100% satisfied with both the process and the product being made. We assure you that your satisfaction is our priority.
Orders are usually processed and shipped within 2-7 business days (M-F) of purchase. Shipping time for custom/handmade pieces may take longer, details of which can be found in the product description. When your order ships, we will email you a shipping confirmation with tracking information. Please check your spam folder if you did not receive the shipping email.

All Orders are shipped though Fedex. For orders being shipped within Canada, we use priority overnight shipping and delivery is next day by 10:30am to most Canadian addresses.
For orders being shipped to the US, we use International Priority Shipping. It’s usually 2 day delivery to most U.S. addresses. It can be an additional 2-3 days due to unknown factors such as weather conditions or customs clearance delays.
For orders being shipped outside North America, we use International Priority Shipping. It is usually 2-3 day delivery to most major cities, but can take longer depending on the address or due to unknown factors such as weather conditions or customs clearance delays.
All orders can be tracked using the tracking number that will be provided once the order has shipped. Please ensure that someone is present to accept the package at the time of delivery indicated on the fedex tracking page.
All items on the website are priced exclusive of taxes, duties, or shipping. For orders being shipped within Canada, duties are not applicable.

Yes, to most countries. Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of shipping and taxes. Shipping will be calculated upon checkout, and tax is not charged for orders being shipped outside of Canada. Duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and Maharani Jewels has no control over this.
Yes, all orders shipped outside of Canada are considered International orders.
The customs office of the destination country may impose customs fees, import duties, taxes, and other charges to your international order where applicable. These additional charges required for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. When your order arrives at customs, either our shipper, FedEx, or the customs office will contact you directly to arrange for the payment of any charges that may be due. In some circumstances FedEx is required to pay certain duties and taxes, in advance, on a customer's behalf. For instance, FedEx may pay an advance fee when countries require that duties and taxes be paid prior to customs release or prior to certain items clearing customs. In these instances, FedEx will assess an Advancement Fee surcharge that will be billed to the party designated to pay duties and taxes.
Please be advised that Maharani Jewels has no control over these charges. Country of origin information for your order can be provided by the team at Maharani Jewels in order to assist you in estimating import duties. Please contact your local customs office for further details.

Absolutely! In today’s day, everything from banking, to e-transfers, to the purchasing of airline tickets, to purchasing luxury handbags, and even cars is done online. Our website is Level 1 PCI compliant and the shopping cart also includes an SSL certificate that uses industry standard 128 bit encryption technology (the same level of encryption used by large banks) to keep your data and information secure.
We ship our jewelry worldwide by FedEx and our shipments are fully insured.
If the ring purchased was a stock size, then we will be happy to re-size it at no charge as long as it fits the re-sizing parameters of the ring. If it was a special order ring, or does not fit the re-sizing parameters, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you further. At this time, we accept re-sizing from all customers based in Canada.

Not at all. Your package is fully insured while it is in transit. But please note that Fedex may leave your package at your doorstep if it is a residential delivery, and from that point onwards, it becomes your liability. So please ensure that there is someone present at the time of delivery to accept and receive the package.
Certain precautions should be taken with all of your jewelry, and some gemstones require extra special care. We suggest that you avoid wearing your jewels while doing housework, gardening, or any other kind of physical activity that can expose your jewels to a hard or abrasive surfaces. Even a diamond can chip if hit with enough force or at just the right angle. Gemstones such as an amethyst, citrine, peridot, or a pearl are not as hard as gemstones such as diamonds, rubies, or sapphires, and therefore need to be handled with care. And please be even more careful with an emerald, opal, and a tanzanite as these gemstones are particularly delicate. As gemstones can scratch other gemstones, it is important that each piece of jewelry is stored and kept individually. We suggest keeping them in your Maharani box when you are not wearing them. Stacking rings and bangles next to each other makes these gemstones vulnerable to abrasions. Also, please avoid exposing your jewels to cosmetics, perfumes, lotions, chemicals, and extreme temperatures. And please consult with a Maharani expert about the use of an ultrasonic in the cleaning of your jewels. To clean diamonds, we suggest using a soft bristled toothbrush, warm water and a mild soap, or a solution consisting of 1 part ammonia and 6 parts warm water. Your Maharani jewels are rare and valuable pieces that can be passed on for generations and generations. So please treat each piece with care and love. And the team at Maharani is always at your service to assist with any of your concerns and questions.
Though we would hope you would never need to return your Maharani Order, your complete satisfaction is our utmost priority. You may return or exchange your Maharani order within 14 days from when you received your package. You will only pay for return shipping and insurance fees. At this time, we accept returns from all customers based in Canada.
Please note that to be eligible for return or exchange, items must be in their original purchase condition, include all product documentation, and shipped within 14 days of the item being shipped out. Items that are worn or damaged will not be accepted for a refund or exchange. Please email us at email@example.com to receive more information on how to return your item. Please note the following:
- At this time, we only accept returns and exchanges from customers based in Canada.
- Please allow approximately 2 weeks for your credit card/paypal return to be processed.
- Any orders that are past the 14 day mark will not be accepted for refund, or exchange.
- If the item qualifies for an exchange, you can only exchange an item once and Maharani Jewels will take care of the shipping to the destination. You will be responsible for initial return shipping/insurance.
